"But mom, cleaning up is imboring for kids."
IMBORING - def. frustrating, boring, too hard, embarrassing. annoying (all of these are his own meanings of the meaningless word)
He uses this word A LOT lately in a variety of situations, it really fits anything he doesn't want to do. Doesn't care that I say that it isn't a real word. He believes it is and he likes using it.

Beth,
This is what I absolutely LOVE about children...they can come up with some of the most adorable and creative ways to say how they feel about what they don't want to do. So cute!!!
Love, Mom
that's hilarious! He has a good mind, that'S for sure. He is always thinking!
Can't say that I blame him! Did you tell him that it's imboring for grownups too??
Too cute!! I feel the same way sometimes!! I love the made up words & mispronunciations!! Anderson likes to eat 'hangaburgers'.... ; )
Well, who knows my little professor may get another word in the dictionary!
Love,
Mimi and Papa
Actually I like the word "imboring"...I wish I could have come up with something like that when my Mama used to make me clean up the kitchen after a meal when I was young. I was not so creative...I would just disappear rather quickly...not sure how, but my Mama could always find me.
