Prego Photo

OK, here it is. I've had quite a few of you asking me to post a photo of my pregnant belly. I haven't been real excited about doing this but I realize many of you may not see me pregnant at all this time. So, it's done. Carrying very different this time than I did with the boys and still haven't adjusted to it. Not sure why I feel so differently and not sure exactly why I don't like it but that's how I'm feeling! :) Further than half way now, so that's a nice feeling! :)

Friday night at the Barbours

One of the couples in our LIFE class has opened up their home on Friday nights for anyone in the class to come and hang out. Heather & Brian have been very generous to welcome all of us with NO limits! This past Friday is the first time we've been able to make it since they started a few weeks ago and it was a lot of fun!! The guys stayed in the front room pretty much the entire time, the ladies in the family room with all the babies and everyone else, 2 & up, was upstairs playing and enjoying each other (for the most part :)). Thanks Heather & Brian for opening up your home and making us all feel so welcome! We look forward to the next time...

Revelation Song

I hope you all can hear this song playing when you pull up my blog. It's one of my new favorites. We're singing it in church on Sunday and it touches me each time I hear it. It draws me into Him; if I could only grasp how truly Holy HE is and allow Him to really be my EVERYTHING!!!

does it surprise you we chose pink???

a couple of firsts...

1. first room painted in the house - very eager to get rid of these white walls after a whole year!

2. first pink room in a house we've lived in EVER! so fun!

Addison's room is now painted and I LOVE it! Got paint for the boys room so that will be next, and then on to the kid's bathroom. Want to get all the kids rooms finished before starting on the rest of the house! :)

Basketball Evaluation

Harrison started Basketball this past Saturday. It's a program called Upward Basketball through a local church in our area. He really enjoyed meeting his coach and learning a few drills. Here he is showing off his new Basketball shoes that Mommom got him in TN. His first game is Feb. 2nd and you know I'll have pictures. Anthony is very excited to see Harrison playing his all time favorite sport! What daddy wouldn't be??? :)

Visiting with the Schrodt Family!

The boys played Toy Story for most of the weekend. Wouldn't you know the first thing they spotted was Mr. Potato Head made out of cans!

Harrison's new favorite thing to pretend is having a "Camp Out" as he says. He was very glad to see they had a tent all set up just for him!

Jackson really enjoys the chance to practice his driving skills

Callie loved the meat counter.

Jacob practicing his cashier skills

weighing their goods before checking out

writing and stamping letters to mail

Serious Fishermen...

Jackson & Jacob watching their BIG brothers!

Callie was determined to get in on the fishing one way or another!

Katy & Callie checking out the Ambulance and humoring the little girls playing doctor.

The Pirate Ship was a BIG HIT!

playing at the water tables

Upstairs they have building centers, craft centers, news room, instruments, and so much more!!!

We had so much fun with Katy and her kids! Katy drove up on Wed. night and left on Friday night after dinner. (Only a true friend would drive 3 hours with her 3 children and act like it was nothing! I can't say thank you enough for being willing to do that!) It was a quick visit but absolutely perfect! I treasure our times together and she is truly such a dear friend!!! I feel so blessed that God has brought us together. Our times visiting in VA are so short and pulled between family that it is so nice to have her all to myself for a couple of days! :) And doesn't she look FABULOUS!!!! I hadn't seen her since before Christmas and I hardly recognized her she's gotten so skinny! Katy, you look INCREDIBLE!!! AMAZING!!! :)

We spent Thursday at the house and just let the kids play. They played like they always do! It's like there is no time or distance between them. I love that! Her kids are a joy and I enjoy every minute of them being here! We had lots of times to talk, talk, talk....you'd think we wouldn't have much to say with as much as we do that but we always find more!

Friday we spent the morning at Marbles, the Children's Museum downtown, and as you can see from the pictures above it was SO MUCH FUN!!!! They have so many centers for the kids to pretend play and we just had a ball watching them. We headed back home for naps and then they took off to VA after dinner. It was such a wonderful time together and I can't wait for the next time. Hopefully David can join her sometime soon. Poor thing hasn't got to tag along yet and I'm sure Anthony would enjoy having him, as would we all! :)

We have a name...

Addison Grace Williams

I've known her name for a while but Anthony just wanted to hold out to make sure he loved it. It's finally official! The kids know her name and it's so fun to hear them refer to her. We can't wait for our little girl to arrive!

stole this from another mom's blog. i love it. i'm trying to remind myself of it all the time as my sweet 2 1/2 year old boy is challenging me everyday! it's all going to go by so fast and i only hope it's not a blur years from now.

toothless...

Harrison lost his FIRST tooth today! he was hilarious! he was eating a PB&J sandwich for his second helping of lunch - growth spurt i guess - and kept complaining that his teeth felt bumpy. i suggested he may need to brush them but he kept complaining. i finally went over to look and survey the situation. one of his bottom front teeth was loose, very wiggly. he was very excited and i told him he could play with it and eventually it would come out.

he kept going in and out of the bathroom to check it out and i finally asked him to close the drain so it wouldn't get lost "if" it did come out - i didn't think it was that ready. i was on the phone with Katy and he comes over and tells me that he's going to go into the bathroom and shut the door so if it comes out it will be a surprise. after he walked away, i joked to her that i was surprised that he wasn't more upset about the whole thing. he's usually quite cautious and i thought for sure the unknown of the situation would take him over the edge. as she and i are talking, i hear him swishing and spitting and i ask if he is ok. he comes out of the bathroom holding his tooth with the cutest little look on his face. my BIG boy just took it out! i couldn't believe it! i remember being such a basket case when my first tooth was lose!!!

he told me that it bled a little but that it was ok and that the blood would go away! what a big boy!

so here he is...with one less tooth! when he had his dentist appointment last month they said that his bottom teeth were a bit loose and he could loose one as early as three months but i guess they were more lose than they thought! :)

i guess this is a sign that he is REALLY growing up!

sharing a room!!!

Jackson has moved into Harrison's room! We moved him on New Year's Day so it's truly a New Year and a NEW experience for both of them. I didn't anticipate any problems as we've been talking about this happening for a couple of months. However, this has gone much better than I even expected! Jackson is TRILLED to be with his BIG brother. He LOVES his new bed and their toys being together. Harrison has loved having his brother in his room and has been very gracious to open up his room to his new roommate! :) Time to get the other room ready for our new baby girl! Very exciting! :)

Harrison's plans...

last night i asked Harrison what he thought he was going to do when he grows up. he said "well, i'm going to have two jobs." i said, "two jobs, you'll be awful busy, why two jobs?" he said "in case i get fired, then i will still have a job." i tell you this boy is ALWAYS planning! :) he said he's going to be a veterinarian AND work at the dog pound. interesting combination! :)

i love my boy!!!!!

It's a BABY GIRL!!!!!

Here are pictures of our precious baby girl! Our ultrasound was yesterday and when they told us we were having a girl, I started crying! We are practically in shock and can't hardly believe we are having a girl! We are SO excited! Harrison and Jackson can't wait to meet their new baby sister in May and they are going to make amazing big brothers! Our baby looked healthy and was quite the busy little bee moving all around. We feel so blessed and are so grateful to the Lord to be able to have this baby girl! We love her already! This will truly be a New Year's Eve we will NEVER forget! I'll let you know when we have a name....

Can you believe it???? I can start shopping for pink! :)
