Today I asked Harrison the same question I ask everyday and as far as I know three things happened:
- Carlos spit at Abasi and Abasi spit at Carlos
- He used a little too much glue when making his name with beans
- He played a version of musical chairs with "hooley hoops" as he says in gym class
I guess I should be thankful I'm getting that much...
The other thing he mentioned is to please NOT send any Granola Bars for snack. There was an Ant on his desk and he believes that Ant appeared because of his Granola Bar.
One more thing I forgot to tell all of you...on Thursday of last week we were getting ready to leave for school and he said, "Mom, can you wear makeup and polish when you take me to school? I don't want anyone to think that woman is a man." How sweet of him to be concerned on my behalf!!!

Just keep on asking.....He will tell you more and more. I read somewhere that they will tell the most important things in the first 20 minutes of being with you after school. If that is true, then spitting has moved up on his priority list, ants are big and the gym experience is pretty fun!
Love,
Mimi
That make-up comment is hilarious! I love the things kids say:) I would love to get together soon!!
Hilarious - At least he's telling you something instead of "I can't remember." The makeup and polish comment is hysterical. I wonder where these kids come up with half the things they say. Glad he's enjoying school so much! Miss you guys.
ok, so I hope no one is watching me b/c they would think I was crazy I am laughing so hard. So did you put on the make-up and polish, man? I can't wait until my children start making comments about my apperance....JJ!
That is hysterical! I love it! I am sure he just wants you to look and feel your best, that's all! : ) Thanks for the prayers and I will hopefully have my answer this afternoon! Amanda
Oh Beth, I am laughing so hard right now in Germany. This blog just made my day!!! Granola bars and ants...and he's concerned about your make up and polish! Oh my word...he is a hoot! And to think that a 5 year old comes up with this stuff. Love you! -V
Makeup and polish - now that's asking a lot!!!! Too funny - hopefully you can find another suitable snack for the little guy! don't want any ants coming home with him!!
Too funny Beth. I woke Greta up when I started laughing about the granola bars and make-up stories. That is hilarious.
i learned quickly with Rebekah to not bother asking any questions after school. i immediately got the "who got in trouble" report, and maybe what their snack was. other than that, the REAL information (that we, as moms, would be interested in) came out at the randomest times...riding in the car later that afternoon, while we're putting her to bed, while i'm trying to make dinner, etc. so, stop trying to coax it out of him...it'll come out sooner or later!
So funny, its already starting - the concerns about parental appearance - how cute! One time Anderson told me my makeup wasn't working!! Make sure to switch out those granola bars mom!!!
Oh Beth that is hysterical! What thoughts must go through that little head every day. Glad to hear he is looking out for you, too. What a little man!
