Ocean Breeze Waterpark

Mammaw (my mom) provided a GREAT day of fun for the grandkids at Ocean Breeze Waterpark on Monday. We had a blast. The kids just splashed and splashed all day! Harrison rode two rides with Mommy and was a very big boy all day. We had lunch and Dippin' Dots ice cream for an afternoon snack. All of the kids were excited about that, being as they hadn't had that kind of ice-cream before. We had to do some convincing for Grant...it didn't look "normal" to him so he was concerned. He came around. :) They had these cute "kid-sized" slides that the boys could do on their own. Harrison called them the "potty" slides because you would sit down in this little area before going down the slide and it sort of looked like a potty flushing. :) As you have probably already noticed I don't have any pictures of Austin and Baylee. Austin was there with us but took his friend Jake. He knew if he didn't have a friend he would end up in the "kiddie" park all day and that didn't seem like a lot of fun to him. Baylee was in Nags Head with her parents celebrating her daddy's birthday. So...I've attached pictures of them so you can see what they are looking like these days. :)

Baylee was throwing things in the pool for Austin to pick up.

Austin is shooting water with his spider-man webs. He usually has a much nicer look on his face! :)

Man, how fun!!! I'm so glad you got to go with your Mom and Janet. We're very jealous! :) How VERY exciting about the Dippin' Dots - I'm sure that would have been the highlight for my kids too! Too cute!

How sweet of your Mom to host such a special event for you, Janet and the kids! I am sure she was there taking pictures all the while! You got some good ones. I could not believe Janet's kids....They are all growing up so quickly! Especially Austin! Love, Mom and Dad

Thanks to you girls for such wonderful grandchilren to have fun with...I love the way they enjoyed each other at the water park...It was good summer FUN! Also thanks to the camera for making it look like a HOT summer day...no one can tell how COLD we were...although it is a VIVID memory...Who would ever guess it would be so cool in July on the day we chose to go to the water park...It goes to show- you can fool the world with a CAMERA and a little Sunshine! HA! The Dippin' Dots were fun too...I just hope the kids don't associate them to "Chill Bumps" due to the cool breeze. The pictures of Austin(The grandchild who was there but having too much fun with Jake to stop for a picture)and Baylee(Who was too little to realize we even went on her daddys birthday)added a nice touch to this assortment of pictures. I absolutely love this blog and I deffinitely love YOU & the family this blog represents. Mammaw(Your Mom)
