Ocean Breeze - Baylee and Savannah's party

this past weekend (July 25th) we celebrated our nieces birthday's at Ocean Breeze Waterpark in VA Beach, VA. it's the third year that they've done this and we love it! it truly is a fun party! Baylee turned 4 on the 26th and Savannah will be 2 on August 15th.

the party was a Pinkalicious theme so my mom made hair bows and bought the girls matching cutie patootie PINK swimsuits. now, EVERYONE who's been at the pool with us this summer KNOWS Addison does NOT need anymore swimsuits. this girl has SO many adorable suits thanks to Grace and her hand-me-downs. however, it sure was fun to get another one to dress her up in that matched her cousins! :)

I didn't take very many pictures this year, as you can see. I think because we were SO busy keeping up with the kids at the water park and also because I dropped my camera in the water at Ocean Breeze a couple of years ago so I tend to be a little more timid in my picture taking at places like that! :) We sure had a blast! They boys were ALL over that park! It was SO special to be there and celebrate our sweet little nieces!

Baylee is quite the little swimmer. There is no fear of water in this little girl. I think she really enjoyed her party!

The boys sure felt like they were hot stuff! They had been to the park last month so they knew where everything was and exactly what they wanted to do. I think they tried out the 'potty' slides first...remember, the flushing section at the top of the slide! :)

I only wish I had pictures of the actual party. I broke my camera about 10 minutes before we ate lunch and had cake. That would have been great coverage to get being as it WAS a BIRTHDAY PARTY! Oh well, what can you do?

Thanks Tom and Grace for providing a wonderful party for Baylee! We had so much fun and you were so generous! The kids had a blast and I'm so glad we were able to make it to celebrate with everyone!

Ocean Breeze Waterpark

Mammaw (my mom) provided a GREAT day of fun for the grandkids at Ocean Breeze Waterpark on Monday. We had a blast. The kids just splashed and splashed all day! Harrison rode two rides with Mommy and was a very big boy all day. We had lunch and Dippin' Dots ice cream for an afternoon snack. All of the kids were excited about that, being as they hadn't had that kind of ice-cream before. We had to do some convincing for Grant...it didn't look "normal" to him so he was concerned. He came around. :) They had these cute "kid-sized" slides that the boys could do on their own. Harrison called them the "potty" slides because you would sit down in this little area before going down the slide and it sort of looked like a potty flushing. :) As you have probably already noticed I don't have any pictures of Austin and Baylee. Austin was there with us but took his friend Jake. He knew if he didn't have a friend he would end up in the "kiddie" park all day and that didn't seem like a lot of fun to him. Baylee was in Nags Head with her parents celebrating her daddy's birthday. So...I've attached pictures of them so you can see what they are looking like these days. :)
