let the waters rise

heard this song on KLOVE on my way home tonight.

God showed up!!! Some very hard things going on with people I love and this was JUST what i needed to hear. So much going on in my heart and He knows. He loves those sweet people I love even more than I could possibly imagine. I can't take care of them but HE can. HE WILL!!!

Don't know where to begin
Its like my world's caving in
And I try but I can't control my fear
Where do I go from here?

sometimes its so hard to pray
When You feel so far away
But I am willing to go
Where you want me to
God, I trust You

There's a raging sea
Right in front of me
Wants to pull me in
Bring me to my knees
So let the waters rise
If You want them to
I will follow You
I will follow You
I will follow You

I will swim in the deep
'Cuz You'll be next to me
You're in the eye of the storm
And the calm of the sea
You'll never out of reach

God, You know where I've been
You were there with me then
You were faithful before
You'll be faithful again
I'm holding Your hand

God Your love is enough
You will pull me through
I'm holding onto You

There's a raging sea
Right in front of me
Wants to pull me in
Bring me to my knees
So let the waters rise
If You want them to
I will follow You
I will follow You
I will follow You

Isn't it wonderful when you are burdened by the world's pressures and problems and God touches you in such a great way! He uses whatever He needs to, to visit our troubled hearts.

I am ever so grateful that I have a daughter-in-love that recognizes the Hand of God and goes to Him for comfort and strength. I thank God that you had parents that taught you in the ways of the Lord. It reminds me of the long walks I would take when the children were small and I would pray for the man or woman that would come into their lives and be their partner. I can now say Praise the Lord....He answered my prayer!

Love,
Mom

Beth, I have never heard this song but I love the words! God is faithful and even in the midst of all of the things that are burdening your heart, He is with you and He will take care of it all! I too am so thankful my brother married a girl who loves the Lord and who is tender to His voice! You are one of a kind, Beth and I love ya to pieces!
