lollipop fun

aren't they sweet!!! :)

Baylee Rebecca 3, Harrison Tyler 6 1/2, Jackson Reed 3 1/2

Savannah Grace- 14 months old

Uncle Tom gave out HUGE lollipops one afternoon. The kids loved them and it was so cute to watch them try to manage these incredibly big lollipops! I can't believe how big everyone is getting! Spending time with cousins is the BEST! :)

a day at the farm for birthday party fun!

One of the very fun things we got to do on our vacation to VA was celebrate birthday's with Josiah, Jacob, and Anderson! They combined their birthday parties and had a BIG celebration at Hunt Club Farm! It was SO much fun! The food was FABULOUS, Katy and Heather made some yummy chili and hot dogs. The kids fed the animals in the petting zoo area, jumped and jumped to their hearts content on all the fun inflatables, played on a HUGE swing set, and the MOST fun of all was had on the big pile of hay! You'll see most of my pictures are in the hay! It was lots of fun. Sure got me in the fall mood! :)

It was fun to see Sue again! Madeline and Addison are very close in age and Sue and I both ave two older boys as well. We're having fun in all this pink! Addison and Madeline are holding hands in this picture, how cute is that??? :) Katy and I also had a GREAT weekend together! It was jammed packed full of fun! New things too, like running together! A first for us and me getting to go to her race and cheer her on! A first for me, going to a race! So inspiring! :) Callie loves Addison and I'm sure they're gonna be close girlfriends some day! They're mom's are, so why wouldn't they be?? :)

All the kids enjoyed the petting zoo! Isn't Erin looking like such a big girl too! I wish I had gotten pictures of all the kids but everyone was running in a million different directions! The kids were having so much fun and you just had to get the pictures you could, fast, before they were off again!

This one inflatable was hilarious! You entered through the stomach, I guess, right under the head and then exited out the bottom. You can see that woman prying it open to find her child probably! Hilarious! All the boys loved that! I think they thought it was sort like coming out as poop! It did look a little strange seeing the kids pop out like that! :)

These two pictures are hilarious! Jacob and Jackson are two peas in a pod! So much a like it isn't even funny! They both were all about wrestling this weekend but after a bit couldn't take back what they would dish out! They got into it on the hay pile a few times and I actually caught it on camera! They would throw hay at each other, in fun at first, and then one of them would get mad. Here is Jackson hitting Jacob in the face with hay. The next picture was the two of them getting up from a "fight". At one point Jackson tackled Jacob, and then Jacob got on top of him and was pounding on Jackson! Some of you mom's are probably appalled but they LOVE each other and I just found all of this so funny! It's clear they both have two older brothers and are used to holding their own! Hilarious!

There was sign in the farm for Addison Fire Department. Anthony held Addison up, we had to get a picture!

It was such a fun day and we are so glad we were able to be in town for all the fun! :) Happy Birthday Josiah, Jacob, and Anderson! :)

Bumbo

Addison tried out the Bumbo seat this weekend! :) We were able to take it home with us so I know she's going to love being able to sit up and see everything her brothers are up to! :) In these pictures, she's wearing Savannah's shirt and pants. Isn't it the cutest! I LOVED seeing Savannah in this shirt and it's so fun for Addison to be able to wear it.

I think the fall clothes make her look so much older! Although we're taking a week break from fall clothes because it's almost 90 this week! record highs! you just never can tell with October in the south, can you??? :)

taking Emma to the bus

Harrison and Jackson were so excited to be able to walk Emma to the bus on Friday (Oct. 10th). They went with Aunt Janet and took Sheffield too. :) Aren't these kids looking SO big! I can't believe Janet has her youngest in kindergarten!

I didn't get a picture, but Austin is TALLER than me!!! Not that I'm tall or anything! I hope they are all taller than me when they grow up. :) But we were standing beside each other and I was like hey, wait a minute, he's taller than me now! I used to hold him as a baby! I was there the day he was born! I can't believe he is so big!

The boys had so much fun visiting their cousins and VA friends!

i reached my first goal!

i can't believe it but i have reached my FIRST goal! way back when, 10 weeks ago this past saturday, i started on my running journey.

i wanted to become a runner. i wanted to become someone who loves exercise. i "want" to become someone who is maintaining their desired weight, not someone wishing they were smaller and wishing it would happen over night without any work at all! ha! :)

my first goal was to run for 30 minutes straight and be able to run 3 miles.

well, i did it! this morning! all by myself and it felt so good! yes, it was hard. yes, it hurt some...but not too bad. :) no, it wasn't easy. it was easier than when i first started this process. i liked it. i was excited to be doing it!

i ran 3 miles in 37 minutes without stopping to walk. not that walking would be horrible or bad, just wanted to be able to move to the next step. running. i still may walk again and i'm ok with that. but i can do this! i never thought i could.

i was the person who never enjoyed sports, never ran before in my life...not even the mile in high school - i would walk it. i HATED to exercise. never could get myself motivated enough to want to. i would try here and there but just didn't want to do it. wanted to look different and feel different about myself but didn't want to do the "work" involved with making that happen.

something has changed. don't really know what entirely. there are a few factors but not just one. i'm glad there has been a change. i'm on a new journey and i'm loving it!!!

i'm not the size i want to be YET! but on my way and not worrying about that. i'm losing and changing and most of all still "liking" running. that is what is amazing to me! :)

now on to a new goal...what should it be???? :) katy wants me to sign up to do a half marathon in March 2009. i just might! i'll let you know...

Our girl is 4 months old!!!

Had to take a brief break from the vacation posts and post about Addison's 4 mo. well baby visit today! She's doing awesome! A very happy, healthy baby girl! :)

She weighs 12lbs 10.6oz (35th percentile)
She is 24 3/4 inches long (75th percentile)

We seem to have long, lean babies! She reminds me so much of the boys in her build. Harrison was 15lbs 25 1/2 inches at 4 mo. and Jackson was 12lbs 4oz 24 1/2 inches at 5mo. She's somewhere in the middle there. It's fun to look back and compare. :)

"not sure if i want to smile yet, i seem to remember something bad about the last time i saw you Dr. Murnane." "ok, just a little smile."

showing off her tricks! see the wet shirt??? this girl drools so much i can't keep her dry! her clothes are always wet and she isn't teething apparently!

the boys were so upset that the doctor had left to tell the nurse to get the shots ready they kept hiding. it was their way of being anxious for their sister. so sweet. do you think she knows what is coming or tired of being handled by her brothers. probably both!!!

the boys were able to get the flu MIST instead of the SHOT! thank goodness. i don't think i could have handled another experience like the last. grown boys kicking and flailing and screaming at the top of their lungs. no, daddy will be joining us in dec. for the hep. booster they will be getting. not doing that alone again! :)

this is just pitiful isn't it! she must have cried for a solid 15 minutes after her shots. the boys would always cry and then do the silent, take it all in, wait for it....huge scream and then cry for a couple minutes and then they were fine. off to sleep right away for a LONG time. she screamed and cried from the start and didn't stop until i was able to start feeding her in the car. poor thing. then on our way home she stayed completely awake and talked as usual. didn't go to sleep until i put her in her bed. funny. always comparing you know? :) hoping she'll have a good day and won't be too put out about all of this!

Addison Grace Williams at 4 months old
Isn't she sweet????

I can't believe this little girl is already 4 months old! Where is the time going??? She is so sweet and we just love her SO much! Here's what she's up to these days...

Sleeps 10-12 hours at night
Take 3 naps a day (sometimes a 4th cat nap)
Eats 6 times a day, usually 3 hours stretches sometimes 3 1/2 once or twice
Nurses for 30 min, sometimes less
Rolls from back to tummy (2 1/2 months old)
Rolls from tummy to back (3 months old, finally SAW her do it in Florida this past week but knew she was doing it by how i would find her in her bed.)
Pushes up on her legs to get her bottom in the air or up on knees. Can anyone say early crawler? OH NO! I hope not!
Sleeps on both tummy and back, it changes all throughout the night
Smiles at everyone, such a happy and friendly girl!
Very content and doesn't cry all that much
Sucks two middle fingers and puts her pointer and pinky fingers up on her face
No longer will take the pacifier
Has started to lay her head on your shoulder and snuggle and coo (LOVE THAT)
Talks and gurgles to get attention
Hates to be alone, wants to be in the same room with everyone when she is awake
Starts to grunt when tired and wants to be put in her bed
Doesn't cry when put down to sleep, just flips immediately over onto her tummy, puts fingers in her mouth and closes her eyes. WOW
Has figured out how to jump in the johnny jumper
Loves to be outside, loves the stroller, loves the baby bjorn
Talks and smiles at herself while looking in her mirror in the car
Wants to be held upright, doesn't like to be held in the cradle position unless nursing
When she smiles at you, she kicks and screams in delight
Not laughing yet, just little small giggles
Holds hands together so dainty
Crosses ankles while sitting and sleeping, so sweet!
Likes to have her hand out straight laying on some portion of you. She'll just rub your arm, so sweet!

What a blessing this girl is! We love you Addison Grace and we are loving watching you grow!!!

arriving, golfing, painting pottery, WOW

You'll be interested to know I've just put 41 pictures in this post. Looks like I'm gonna be going over my 100 picture goal. Oh well, this really is for me more than it is for you, right??? :) This was our first day...I haven't even gotten to the good stuff! :)

This trip was Addison's FIRST plane ride. She did GREAT! The boys were so excited that she was going on a plane for the first time. Travel by plane has been such a part of our lives for so long. It was neat to be able to take her so young and get her started off on the right track in the Williams family! We are a traveling family, that is for sure! :)

Did I have her dressed up or what??? No jammies for this flying baby! :)

Mimi had a GREAT meal planned for us when we arrived. Can you tell Addison was excited to be at Mimi's house for the first time! Cody, get used to these pictures...Mimi takes a ton! :)

After lunch, the boys headed out for a game of golf. This is the main reason Anthony and Chris love The Villages so much! GREAT golf and CHEAP golf and as much as they can stand to play! 33 courses to be exact! A golfer's dream! I think Anthony and Chris are counting down the days to retirement! ...you would think they were worn out from years of pressure in the work world. nope, just want to live a life of golf, golf, golf! :)

i know y'all probably think i'm silly but the golf cart is one of my favorite things about going to see Mimi and Papa. the kids LOVE it! you could just ride them around on it all day and they would be as happy as can be. you can drive it ANYWHERE. i'm not kidding. walmart, groceries, pool, restaurants, etc... pretty much anywhere. that's why they only have one car. it's more fun to drive the golf cart! :)

the bjorn worked so well on our trip. addison loved being in it and was as peaceful as ever. actually there is hardly a time when this girl is not peaceful!

came to the pottery place, Amazing Glaze, for the boys and the mommy's to paint a little bit. had to make sure we did it first thing because it takes a week for your piece to come back.

Harrison painted a Lady Dog - you know, Lady and the Tramp.

Jackson painted an alligator. he's all about them these days.

cody painted a four wheeler

you would be proud of me. i stayed completely out of it and didn't direct them at all when it came to their works of art. and i'm so glad i did. they turned out absolutely adorable and i know they were made by my boys...all by themselves!

i painted a platter with Addison's feet prints and the boys hand prints. Jessica painted an adorable pumpking dish.

poor Addison, she didn't know what to think of that cold paint on her feet!

Harrison making his hand prints

Jackson making his handprints

we did it in the shape of a butterfly. i came back a couple days later and did the finishing touches! it is so beautiful and this picture doesn't hardly do it justice! i can't wait to have this up somewhere in the house for everyone to see!

Addison was sacked out after a LONG day! it was a GREAT start to our week and i can't wait to show you more of all the fun things we did!

stay tuned! :)
