Harrison started back to school this morning. He was very excited and I can't WAIT to hear about his day!
Jackson cried when he left, I know he's gotten used to him being around. Although, that doesn't mean they got along the entire time.
Anthony's back home with no plans to go ANYWHERE! Thank the Lord!
I still haven't gotten my CD from the Williams' to post Aruba pictures. Hopefully today! They mailed it last Monday so who knows what happened to it!
Have a few more posts with pix to do later today....

Nasty Girl....
Harrison is all about the Incredibles right now because he wants to be Dash (little boy from the movie who runs fast) for Halloween.
All morning he keeps calling Dash's mom, Helen who is a superhero who stretches in all kinds of directions "nasty girl". I keep telling him to stop but he keeps insisting that they call her that on the movie.
Confused, I'm wondering, do they really call her "nasty girl"? Why haven't I caught that, I don't like that, I don't want him saying that! I explain to him why it's not nice to call someone "nasty" etc, etc...
He then starts to give me a replay of when Incredi-boy says to Mr. Incredible, "YOU MARRIED NASTY GIRL!!!" OH, HARRISON! He didn't say "nasty girl", he said "Elasti-girl"! I could hardly contain my laughter.
Whooooo! So, no more "nasty girl". He's got it now, it's "Elasti-girl"! :)

Home at last...
We're home from Aruba! It was a FABULOUS trip and we all had such a wonderful time. The kids has a blast playing on the beach and in the pool everyday with their Mimi & Papa and we enjoyed our time watching them have such a good time! I have lots of pictures and stories that I can't wait to tell but I'm waiting on a CD of pictures from Mom. I hate to blog without all of the pictures from the trip so you'll just have to wait a couple more days!
Harrison has one more week out of school. We're going to hit the Pumpkin Patch this week and work on some Pumpkin carving and I have a few more things planned to make it a fun filled exciting week! How I have enjoyed this three week break with our little man!!! I think this year-round schedule was designed perfectly for our family! :) Harrison and Jackson have enjoyed their time together and it's been so nice to travel a bit. Now, we're home for a while and I can even tell that Harrison is starting to miss school. He'll be ready next week to join his class!
I'll add more later... :)

Harrison earned his Sparks Vest!!!
Harrison is in AWANA for the first time this year. Anthony did the program growing up and LOVED it, so we are very excited that Harrison has the opportunity! He's been working very hard to earn his vest...and finished up what he needed to do tonight. Here are the steps he completed to earn his vest.
1. Attended two Sparks meetings in a row
2. Memorized his Motto - "My friend for Christ"
3. Memorized John 3:16
4. Memorized The Pledge of Allegiance
5. Memorized The AWANA Pledge
6. Memorized and sang the Sparks Song
We are SO proud of Harrison. Now he can start working on his booklet and earn some patches for his vest! :) He's having a blast and learning a lot about Jesus at the same time! Anthony is helping out so he gets the opportunity to see him having fun and growing in his Faith! :) Jackson cried tonight when they left, he wanted to go so bad. Next year, Jackson, you'll be a Cubbie! :)

The Norfolk Zoo
We went to the Zoo on Monday in VA with Katy and her kids. Harrison and Jackson love hanging out with Josiah and Jacob so it was a good time had by all! Here they are looking at a sleepy Tiger.
Mr. Camel
My one picture of Callie. She sort of got overlooked during picture taking time being as she isn't big enough to stand in front of the animals. She looked adorable as always!
The Giraffes - the boys tried to bend over without bending their knees to see how it would feel to have to eat like that. So cute, I think they are glad to have tables and chairs!
The Elephants were quite stinky but are always fun to see.
The Lion's were in this area and we finally saw the Daddy sleeping. Harrison was very insistent upon making sure we didn't miss the Lions!
I know, I'm a poser like my mother-in-law! I couldn't resist!
again, posing them! :) We didn't bother with any of the gardens. Boys just aren't much for gardens!
At the entrance/exit they have water fountains. Harrison, Jackson, & Jacob got SOAKED! They loved it. We just let them play and had fun watching them. Josiah decided to sit that one out. Probably a good choice b/c the other boys just had underwear to wear home! :)

We had fun, can you tell? Thanks Schrodt Family for taking us to the Zoo! We had a blast! :)
Eat at Joe's...

On Saturday night we at at Joe's Crab Shack with some friends from our former small group. I couldn't believe how perfectly this worked out. Have a group? Got lots of kids? Want to eat out? Eat at Joe's! They had a huge outdoor dining area (the weather was FABULOUS by the way! I even had to borrow a jacket from Jessica!) and a playground right off the deck. It was perfect! The kids were able to play, the guys all chatted down at the playground while "watching" the children (they really did do a great job!), and us ladies were able to actually have good conversation and love on little babies! What could be better? Thanks Joe and Jen for arranging this and inviting everyone! It was a lot of fun and we can't wait to do it again! Missed you Brad and Katrina...hope you can make it next time so we can meet Kylee! :)
Block Party
Our neighborhood always has something going on, probably 'cause it's new. I really hope we can keep it up, it's so fun getting to know our neighbors and watching the kids play. This party was last Thursday afternoon and we had a lot of fun...the kids had the most fun for sure! :)
