Mommom

Back in February, we visited my Mommom. It has almost been a year and we just can't let our visits get that spread apart. It's too much fun at Mommom's house! We did a little shopping, Anthony and Harrison were able to take in a UT Men's Basketball Game, went to her church, watched the Superbowl, and just spent lots of time sitting, relaxing, and stuffing our faces.

Can it get much better than that??? :)

Really can't thank the Lord enough for the blessing of my children being able to know both of their great-grandmothers as well as they do. I don't take for granted my grandmothers. They are so special to me and I love them dearly. I am thankful for every moment we are able to spend together. I realize more and more how few people have their grandparents still living much less get to see them as often as I do.

Business trip to Knoxville...well, for one of us.

Mommom got Harrison a cookie cake to celebrate his upcoming Birthday. He was THRILLED!

Party hats too!

Anthony had to work in Knoxville a couple of weeks ago (March 12-15). Whenever he has to get over there, we do everything we can to tag along so we can visit with my Grandmother...better known as Mommom. It was a GREAT visit with her. The kids look so forward to seeing her and she spoils them rotten while they are there. :) She knew Harrison's birthday was coming up the following week and she wanted to make sure he felt extra special. The day we left we had a little party to celebrate with a yummy cookie cake she picked up. Harrison was so excited! We sure love to celebrate in the Williams' family! You don't have to twist our arms! :)

I worried that if Anthony ever left Continental that we wouldn't be able to get over to see Mommom as often as we like to. God moved us to Raleigh so it became a much more manageable drive. THEN he directed Anthony to take a new job headquartered in Knoxville TN! Perfect! I love that both of my Grandmothers and I are still close, they are living, and also healthy! What a blessing for my children to have relationships with their Great-Grandmothers!!! We are very blessed!

a visit with Mommom

October 24, 2008 - Mommom's 82nd Birthday
Mommom, Jackson, Addison, & Harrison (Harrison is using his tongue to try and make his tooth wiggle and come out)

this little girl is the sweetest thing you'll ever meet! she is the most contented baby I have ever seen. yes, she's mine and naturally I'm biased, but I'll tell you when things aren't going well. she is SO happy and SO precious! everyone around her for any amount of time can't get over how calm and peaceful she is. I thank the Lord so much for giving us such a happy baby. we'd love her whatever her personality but this is AWESOME! :)

Mommom LOVES to get her hands on a baby. She is always saying, "mommom sure loves to rock a baby" and Addison enjoyed her time with Mommom in the rocking chair! :)

We had the BEST time visiting my Mommom! Anthony had to be in TN on business so I decided that the kids and I would go with him so we could spend some time with my grandmother. Friday was her birthday and it's been years since we were together on her birthday! She turned 82 and she is just as active as ever! The boys LOVE her and she LOVES them too! Such special times and memories for my children to get to know their Mommom! The kids did awesome on the drive there and back. Coming home we left about 12:30pm so we were in the Ashville mountains while it was still beautiful outside and the colors were gorgeous! I just love fall! It was a FABULOUS weekend!
