Climbing the Rock Wall

all the boys LOVED doing the rock wall.  there wasn't a line so they were able to go up and down the wall multiple times which made it even more fun!  Serioulsy, the SC Zoo is the BEST. 

After the ZOO, we headed back to David & Katy's where she fed us a super yummy lunch!  BBQ Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Watermelon, Baked Potato Salad.  YUM YUM!  We always hate saying goodbye but are so thankful that our friendship has stood the test of time and distance.  So thankful for these dear friends God has given us!  August will be a fun month becasuse the kids are going to come to Raleigh to spend a few days while David and Katy are at a conference and then Baby Schrodt is going to finally arrive and I'll get to go visit!  Can't wait to get my hands on that sweet baby!!!  and to find out if it's a boy or a girl! :)

Memorial Day 2012 at the SC Zoo

I was surprised how close you could get to the Giraffe's!  I thought for sure Addison would be freaked out but she wasn't.  She even fed them. :) 

 something new at the Zoo was a ropes course.  the Schrodt boys had tried it once before.  Harrison was excited to try it and Jackson was bummed about his boot because they wouldn't let him try.

 Harrison got very nervous once he was up there.  The other boys said their first time on the course was hard too.  It's very high up there and as much as they tell you that you won't fall it's a bit scary.  He did a great job and felt like he would be able to handle it better the next time he comes. :)

Sunday at the Schrodt's

The Schrodt's have a FUN tire swing in the back yard!  Sunday morning, David, Katy & Kids had to get up and get out really early becasue of responsibilties at church.  We stayed back and went to the second service so it gave us some extra time that morning for some swinging and pictures!

 Sunday afternoon we took it easy.  Ate a yummy chicken taco lunch, the big boys went to the pool with the daddies, the girls played with toys, Caleb took a nap, and Katy, Princess and I took some time out on the couch to talk and catch up!  Perfect Sunday Afternoon.  That night we went to The Mellow Mushroom for dinner.  It was super yummy!  Love the look on the faces of the servers when you say "party of 11".  The adults were definitely outnumbered. :)

 Afterwards, we headed back home for some ice cream.
