Swim Team practices have begun...

Swim team practices started this week.  For the last few years we've done swim team thru the YMCA for Harrison.  This year, with Jackson joining the team, it was just too expensive to consider.  We decided to go with the Raleigh Parks and Rec Swim Team and so far the kids are enjoying it.  We practice at the Millbrook Pool 3x a week with 4 Swim Meets for the Season and a Championship Meet in August.  We are the Millbrook Marlins! As we were leaving the first practice the boys were so excited to tell me how much they loved it!  They really DO love swimming and it's so good for them!

Our friends the Barbours and Klicks are on the team as well as a couple kids from the boys school and our neighborhood as well. 





 She's my buddy and helps me cheer for the boys!

Harrison has just learned how to jump from the swing. I remember loving stuff like that! So fun to see them be adventurous...as long as we don't end up with any broken ankles! :)

A new dentist

The boys had their dentist appointments this month. They did GREAT and got excellent reports. Looks like they will both need braces but I'm not really surprised. Both Anthony and I did so I guess it was inevitable! :) So proud of my boys! We had to change dentists which I was a little disappointed about. We LOVED our last dentist but our insurance no longer covered their practice. So, we found us a new one and it was great. The boys liked the office and everyone was very friendly.

by the looks of these adorable faces you wouldn't think they could manage to get themselves into so much trouble! they really are doing BETTER than they were when addison first came home.

praying that i can be consistent and persistent at pointing them towards Christ and encouraging them to make RIGHT choices!!! it's hard work but i'm the only one who will do it so i MUST be faithful!!! it's the calling on my life and how i fear failing them!!! praying that i can be faithful and lean on Him when i just feel like i can't do it or don't have the energy to try!
