THE HAIR!!!

I just recently posted about Harrison's 'slick-back' hairdo that he and his daddy worked on one morning that just happened to be picture day morning. You and I are BOTH looking forward to seeing those pictures....

This morning, I went into the bathroom to check on Harrison and this is how I found him...all ready to go. :) He had done it again. He was so proud. I tried to hide my personal feelings about his hairdo and asked if I could take a picture of him! :)

Here it is...THE HAIR!!! By the time he gets home, his hair is fluffy again but I have to wonder..."WHAT ARE PEOPLE THINKING?" I just want everyone to know this is one of those things I'm trying NOT to be a control freak about! He has his own sense of style and he's quite thrilled with this look. Thankfully, it's not an everyday thing and he's cooperative when I DON'T want his hair that way! Oh my sweet boy! It's hard to give these children the freedom to make some of these choices! I'm sure Jackson will be doing his hair and Addison will be wearing mismatched clothes in no time that she's picked out for herself. I guess these are the baby steps of letting go.... :)

He's so cute! He's adorable to me no matter how he chooses to do his hair! I LOVE IT!!! :)

I think he's adorable. Guess you could always buzz his hair leaving him only one option! :-)

Boy do I have some funny photos of Sarah's unusual outfit designs. I let her wear the outfit but told her Sunday School teachers, "She picked this out all by herself" and they would give a knowing nod.

Oh my word - look what Anthony has done! Maybe this is Harrison's way of being close to his daddy while he's out of town on business! That is SO funny!!!

Ha ha. Too cute. Only because I've seen his "fluffy" hair-do would I notice the new one. I don't think too many other moms will be to skeptical. Unless he's loading it up with DEP, I bet it gets fluffy in no time. :)

He reminds me of a little Anthony. I think it's great that you let him have that freedom. We have to choose our battles sometimes. With Addison it will be the clothes!

I agree with Jen...He reminds me of Anthony! That should be such a compliment to his daddy. It is a good thing for him to have some freedom in this area...It shows he takes care with how he looks and that his role model is who it should be, his Wonderful Father!
Love, Mom

Beth, I kinda like Harrison's new do! Do I sound like a doting Aunt or what? He does look so much like Anthony when he was little but just a lot more talkative than Anthony was as Anthony was kinda shy when he was a kid. Can't wait to see the 1st grade school pictures. Just think you'll have some really funny stories to tell Harrison's wife one day. Oh my word...can you imagine this little boy is going to grow up and get married one day? It will be here before you know it and we'll all be wondering where the time went.
