happy due date to me, happy due date to me....
up until this pregnancy, i have never made it to my due date. the boys both came 7 days early. i can't say that i'm thrilled about my accomplishment but i am trying to accept it gracefully.
a note: if you cannot be sympathetic about my situation and i know there will be those of you out there, please just don't bother commenting. i'm afraid it may affect our relationship once this is all over. i'm a very hormonal pregnant woman who is ready for her baby to be here. :)
so, just so you are all up to date. we are waiting "patiently" for our baby girl. :) off to the doctor today at 3pm, not expecting any exciting news to report but we'll certainly let you know if there is.

Your italicized note cracks me up!!! You know how sad I am for you that you aren't already HOLDING Addison in your arms today!!! She's enjoying the hot tub too much! Maybe it's time to go bowling tonight!!!
I am most definitely sympathetic. I think this means she will definitely be a diva, keeping everyone waiting for her grand entrance.
So...the chocolate didn't work? Bummer! Email the doctor update:)!!
I think it's a girl thing...one of my baby-mama friends was late with her little princess...I can't really compare since I was 3 weeks before my actual due date but I can sympathize with the anxiousness and by the way I too got a giggle out of your sidenote. Can't wait to see pictures once that little princess makes her
entrance.
Do you like spicy food? Maybe you should make a mid-week date with something spicy!
Come out, come out little girl...I'm sending happy and peaceful labor vibes your way!!!
You poor thing! I have no idea how miserable you are, I had both of the boys 3 and 2 weeks early. I will be praying she comes soon!
Just wanted to let you know that I can totally relate. I was 10 days over due with my first child and had to be induced. It is so disheartening to reach your due date, the day you've had set in your mind for 9 months, and have it pass just like any other day. Hang in there!! God's timing will be perfect! You won't even remember these last trying days once you're holding your precious girl!
I love your cute "happy due date" post! If it makes you feel any better, all three of my kids were unwilling to come without inducing. I consider you quite blessed to have early boys. We are praying for a safe delivery and can't wait to hear the news!
Beth, hang in there girl...Addison is just doing the Southern thing...she is starting off being "fashionably late". She'll probably be doing this all of her life and she will be keeping her brothers waiting for her while she gets ready. And yes Beth your italicized note cracks me up too...hormones...pregnancy and feeling quite miserable...not a good combination...I know because I've still got 2 1/2 weeks to go and I'm feeling really exhausted and so stinkin' HOT (temps are in the 80's with no air conditioning in Germany) AND to top it off, I so wish we could all be there to share in this joyous time. Okay I'm getting choked up knowing we're missing out on so much. I jump every time the phone rings hoping that you're heading off to the hospital. Love ya, Vonda
My first was finally induced out after his due date passed, and the girls were induced, too. She'll come! I'll pray for some comfort these last days or hours and for a quick and easy delivery! My camera and props are ready whenever she is!
I'm patiently waiting and faithfully checking your blog daily!!!
Hang in there:)
Beth, I'm right there with you...Ben was 8 days late - induced, AK was 3 days late - induced and they let me schedule meghan's induction 10 days early!!!! just relax as much as possible!!
