tonight anthony and i had a night out, just the two of us! perfect!!!! we left the kids with some friends from church and headed over to Durham. we ate at Piazza Italiano...DELICIOUS!!! the weather was SO beautiful. we sat outside and there was a nice breeze, completely wonderful.
then, after we finished, we headed over to the Sarah P. Duke Gardens over at Duke University. vonda and ian got married there in 2005 and we haven't been over there since. jackson was only two months old and now, here i am, pregnant and about to give birth to another baby! :) it was so beautiful. the roses are in full bloom and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! we walked, held hands, and just enjoyed our time ALONE! :)
it was the most wonderful evening and absolutely perfect timing. we won't be heading out ALONE much once this baby girl arrives so it was good that we got it in while we still can!!! :)

Gotta sneak in all the alone time you can! We're so excited to get the news that Addison is finally here - don't keep us waiting too long! :)
I'm so excited for you...you are in the single digits now! ONLY 9 more days until the due date!!
I'm so glad you were able to get out on a date....where's all the pictures of you guys and your cute selves in the rose garden though!!! :) I only wish that I had been able to keep the kids for you - I miss our date night kid-swaps!!! :(
Oh Beth, your evening sounds glorious! And I would love to go back to Duke Gardens and take in all the beautiful roses and other flowers with my handsome prince. Oh I just love that place and of course it's dear to my heart since we were married there. I can't believe it's been 3 years and Jackson was so itty bitty. So glad y'all had a great date night before your baby girl arrives.
