My FIRST Cookie Exchange

This morning I finished up baking 6 Dozen Cookies and headed over to a new neighbors house. Alli had organized a Cookie Exchange in our neighborhood. We had never met before so it was nice meeting a few new ladies and enjoying the company of some I already know. I can't tell you how much I love our neighborhood! I had never been to a Cookie Exchange before so I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Alli fixed us all a FABULOUS lunch and then we were able to leave with containers filled with yummy homemade cookies! What could be better?

Here is my loot! I think a few have been eaten already! :) My first Cookie Exchange was a success and I hope we do it again next year! Very fun!

A morning at Elmcroft...

Jackson & Caden working on their Gingerbread Men

The residents just loved seeing the children! Jack wondering what Mrs. Beth is up to!

Suzanne helping her sweet Melody.

Jackson wore his Reindeer Antlers because he knew the residents would love seeing them. He was a hoot, as always!

The real fun began when the balloons came out. Ms. Betty was Jackson's new best buddy! They hit the balloon and kicked the balloon back and forth to each other. Jackson just laughed and laughed.

Kelly, one of my friends from our Life Class at church, invited us to the nursing home on Friday morning to do an activity with the residents. Kelly's mom, Terry, is the Activities Director at Elmcroft so she had planned a craft for us to do. The kids had a ball and the residents just loved seeing all the little children. Baby Caroline and Baby Sam sure got some smiles as well! It was a great morning spent at Elmcroft and we're looking forward to the next time! :)

Kids Praise Christmas Program

Harrison had his Christmas Program last Sunday night. It was adorable! The kids sang out great and it was so fun to watch him! The first song they sang they used an instrument and the second they had hand motions. Harrison played the instrument but NO HAND MOTIONS! Just stood there and sang! I guess he was too focused on the singing. If you've known Harrison for very long you know he LOVES to sing! :) The program was GREAT and I was reminded AGAIN how God has blessed us with a WONDERFUL CHURCH! They have great programing for the kids and for our whole family! We love it!

My Christmas program starts tonight. It is going to be AWESOME. They put so much effort into their Christmas program, I have never seen anything like it. My mom was here last week and it was so nice to be able to introduce her to all the new friends I've made through the music ministry. I am amazed at how welcoming everyone has been! I feel very blessed to be part of what's happening at Providence!

Christmas Decorations

Little People Nativity and New Nativity Set from Vonda & Ian from Poland! :)

Harrison's & Jackson's tree! We just love Christmas decorations over in the Williams' house!

We've been decorated for Christmas since we got home from Thanksgiving in VA. I just haven't gotten around to posting our pictures! I LOVE CHRISTMAS! :) I'll have to add an outside picture later, I don't have one but there are lights!
