coming home...

we have had the BEST time in Florida this week with Mimi and Papa. Chris, Jessica and Cody spent the week with us too and we just had a blast! golfing for the boys, swimming, golf cart racing (ha!), relaxing, good food, cards, painting pottery with the kids, fishing, feeding ducks, The Magic Kingdom, fun, fun, fun.... who knew WE could have so much fun in a retirement community! sign me up!!! i want to live here! :)

i have a MILLION pictures to post and i can't wait to sort through them! i'm sure there will be many more than you care to see but i just have trouble scaling back when it comes to pictures. i'm just warning you! :)

sad that the week has already come to an end. it always goes way too fast. but more fun for us in a couple of days! we'll be home tues. and wed. and then it's off to VA on thurs. to visit with more family and friends!

I LOVE YEAR ROUND!!! track 4 is AWESOME and having these breaks throughout the year really make having my child in school seem not so bad! we still get to take off and see people and do fun things and don't have to wait for Christmas/Spring/Summer breaks! it's just too good to be true! :) we definitely make the most of Harrison's track out breaks! :)

so we're off to the airport in a little bit...

hopefully pictures in a day or so! :)

Can't WAIT To see all the pictures - I know you guys have all had such a fun week together. Chris summed it up best on Sunday - he said it's like every day is Saturday! :) I've missed you though - good thing you'll be up here in just 3 days!!!!!

Sounds like a wonderful vacation. My sister and brother in law are retiring at 50 and moving near Disney. She's not afraid to have the reputation of living in a retirement community. Those folks know how to live it up! Have a great time in VA!

Okay so we'll all live at The Villages one day...Ian describes it as "Walt Disney world for old people." But Mimi and Papa are NOT OLD ONE BIT...they truly are the youngest spirited people I know don't ya think? Can't wait to see all the pics.

It sure is nice to know that you have a fan club....You know your children are the only ones in the world that will say you don't look old even if you look old as dirt! It really is all about them....they just got used to their parents looks at their early age and so you just never aged to them. But immature....is another thing! I do have just about as good a time as my grandchildren when it comes to amusements and entertainment. You remember where I was at the parade....sitting down on the front row taking it all in.....And what fun it was to see Harrison and Jackson close up and personal with their fantasy characters!

Love,
Mimi
