1st Parent/Teacher Conference

We had our first Parent/Teacher Conference with Harrison's Kindergarten Teacher today! I was able to get a picture of him at his desk so I was happy about that! :) He's doing SO well! Mrs. Lee said that he is a complete joy to have in class! I'm sure I was beaming from ear to ear. I even chuckled and said I know we think so but I'm glad you feel that way too! :) He's doing great and in the top of his class! I completely feel like I'm bragging and it's not meant to be that way at all, I'm just proud of my boy and happy that he's doing well in school. She said he's a good helper, good friend, and a delight. She loves all of his stories and if you know Harrison you know how well he loves to fill you in on things that are going on. I'm sure he'll be telling a little too much before it's all over! :) I got my first "task" as a helper in his class. I got to cut out some items for his teacher tonight. It reminded me of all of those bulletin boards during student teaching! :) I was happy to assist! So, that's the latest and it looks like he's off to a GREAT start!

Yeah - What a great first report, I'm sure they will all be that way! What fun those bulletin boards were. Remember that we had to use 5 different textures, or something like that. I know you are enjoying this time, and we always want to hear how well our friends children are doing!

He is one smart cookie! Good for you for helping out in his class. He will always remember that and be so proud that his mom helped in his classroom. I love all your blogging and the pictures are always adorable. I especially love the picture of Harrison with the swim goggles on!! Love, Kathe

Beth, just think of it this way....You are suppose to be his #1 fan, so you CAN and SHOULD brag. It should be called "spititual bragging" because you always give God the glory for the good in our boys lives. I, too am very proud of Harrison and thankful that God has given him a bright and healthy mind!

Love,
Mimi and Papa

Beth, Keep the negative(What little there is) close to heart before the LORD and BRAG on about the GOOD that you see in your boys! They need to hear it and so do we!!!!!!!!!! GOD has been and is working in Harrison's life and it is wonderful to hear about his year at school.
Love, Mom
