My FIRST Cookie Exchange

This morning I finished up baking 6 Dozen Cookies and headed over to a new neighbors house. Alli had organized a Cookie Exchange in our neighborhood. We had never met before so it was nice meeting a few new ladies and enjoying the company of some I already know. I can't tell you how much I love our neighborhood! I had never been to a Cookie Exchange before so I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Alli fixed us all a FABULOUS lunch and then we were able to leave with containers filled with yummy homemade cookies! What could be better?

Here is my loot! I think a few have been eaten already! :) My first Cookie Exchange was a success and I hope we do it again next year! Very fun!

I've always wanted to do that...maybe we should have a cookie exchange with the Sunday School ladies!

That looks like such a fun idea! It makes me want to reach right up and take one...Yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I should swell up with pride and say, "That's my girl, she get's her baking skills from her mother" but how can I take credit for the Nanny in you?
Love, Mom

Oh yeah...cookie exchanges are awesome! So glad you're getting to know the ladies in your neighborhood...what is so great Beth is that many years to come when some of you have moved to other places, you'll still be in touch and you'll remember these sweet days when you were raising your youngin's together. They're so blessed to have you as their neighbor too. I'm not biased...I'm just calling it like I see it. :) Love ya -V

What a wonderful idea! I don't think we had those when I was raising our kids! Boy would Anthony and Vonda have had a ball with beautiful cookies. I seldom made cookies....not even ugly ones...but those were so pretty. By the way....They looked great on your Christmas Platter!

VERY impressed - can't believe it was your FIRST! I try to steer clear of them so that I don't eat 6 dozen cookies in December!!!!
