it's over, the "papi's" are gone!

Jackson's "papi's" as he liked to call them broke on Monday. They were actually cut off but he said they were broken and "yuck". He has had a good three days overall. Yesterday was a tough nap time, no nap happened, but that's been about the worst of it. He wants to look at them every now and then to see if they are still broken. I then ask him if he wants to hold one and he just says "yuck". He's moved on. :)

Well, I guess that now we have two big boys instead of just one! I agree, Jackson.....They look yucky!

What a wonderful picture of the broken "papi's"...It is absolutely amazing how quickly a child can no longer want something which moments before was his most prized possession! Good Job Jackson...I wouldn't want those things either!

That sweet boy!! For some reason, it always makes me sad when they give those up (even though I know its GREAT that they do)...they are still so little, and its like their first "Trial" in life....silly way of thinking I suppose!! GO JACKSON!!! :)

Good Job Jackson! I agree - they don't look like much to chew on now!

That is so funny! We did the same thing to Kenna! She knew they were broken and never asked for one again! Amazing isnt it!

I think I'm going to steal that trick and see if it works in the future! Corben isn't super attached to his bingky but it does come in handy at times! That's awesome that Jackson took to the idea that they are broken and hasn't figured out that Target sells more! :) Congrats!!!

Good move getting rid of them before the new baby! I wish I had been able to but Bianca was still too little when the babies came...one day she will give it up-Mayber hers will "break" too real soon.
