rough day with little "J"

1. he peed on the window sill during his "nap" that he didn't take
2. he got up on Harrison's bed and decided to pee (bunk beds are NOT the easiest to change while big and preg)
3. he ate 5 or 6 Tums Smoothies and i had to call poison control just to make sure...diarrhea may be in our future.
4. knocked over the toy shelf in the playroom so everything had to be resorted and put back.


i love this little guy but my patience was tried today. i'm exhausted! :) he's in bed now. ahhhhh....

A Shower for Addison!!!

On Sunday March 2, 2008, my sisters gave me and little Addison a shower for all of my VA girlfriends! It was so much fun! The food was DELICIOUS...I love party food! It was so much fun opening all the pretty little girl clothes and getting some of the room accessories! I can't wait for her to get here so I can dress her up like a little doll! :)

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, to EVERYONE for coming and making it such a special day! Not only was the shower fun but it was just wonderful to see all of you and catch up a bit! You all are so special to me and I miss each and every one of you! I feel blessed by God to have such special ladies in my life! love you all! Thankfully we've all started this blogging addiction and I feel like I can peek into your lives and see what's going on while I'm not there! :) Here are the pix from the shower. Mrs. Williams' camera is on the brink so some of them are blurry! Sorry about that! :) Can you believe I forgot my camera????

The Diaper cake! Katy made this for me. Someone made one for her at her shower for Callie and I just LOVED it! I was so excited that she made one for me to enjoy! She even made it in size 1 diapers so I don't have to take it apart too quickly! :)


It was so fun opening the pretty baby clothes and some of the accessories for the room! :)

This frame was from Alicia...such a cute idea! The letters for her name are magnets so you can move them all around. I'm going to try and keep the boys from figuring this out...I'll be missing letters before I know it!

This gift was from Ann & Terri and we just oohed and ahhed over how beautifully wrapped it was. I didn't even want to open it up! :)

Vonda sent this towel for Addison. It's a bunny and Ella Rose has one just like it! Wish you could have been with us Vonda!

yeah for poop!

Jackson has been potty training for 2 weeks...tomorrow. He's doing very well and I'm quite proud of him. However, he hadn't pooped on the potty yet. I wasn't worried. Knew it would happen eventually.

Well, for the past two days we've had poop on the potty! yippee! I know, for some this may sound strange but until you've potty trained you can't say how happy you might be for poop and pee to make it to the potty! :)

So, he's started telling me and going to the bathroom without being told for the last two days as well so I think we're really making progress. I wouldn't check him off yet but he's very close!

Yeah! The goal was before little Addison arrived. So, looks like we might make it! :)

still here...

i haven't posted in over a week! i need to get on the ball. i've been trying to get a lot done around the house and in the baby's room this week so i haven't been on the blog scene!

i forgot my camera for the shower this past weekend so Mrs. Williams got me her pictures and hopefully i can post some of those this weekend. (for those of you who don't know, my sisters gave me a shower for little Addison in VA so i could celebrate with all my VA girlfriends!) it was SO fun and SO MUCH fun to see all of you girls! this little girl inside me is so blessed by all of your love for her and i am blessed to have you all as my friends!

i am SO thankful for your friendships! it has blessed my heart this week to think about how much you have showered your love on me and been excited about our baby girl! i know we are excited but you all have been so excited for us and that just means the world to me!
